Day one BlobS

It is often hard starting a new year, new teacher, new grade level, and nerves are rampant. My nerves were no different from the students. Our day was filled with procedures, processes, and the creation of Team 23 norms (rules). We managed to do a fun icebreaker, "Blobs & Lines". Thank you to those families for your most generous donations of supplies. Team 23 completed our day with a quick debrief of what worked and where our focus will be tomorrow.  We created 6 homogeneous teams of 5 and students will reveal "Famous Leader" team names tomorrow.
